At 10:18 a.m. that day, with the precise cooperation of technical engineers and on-site operators, the first key process equipment was smoothly hoisted to the ultra-clean factory. BOE Crystal Core said that the core equipment was moved earlier than originally planned, which fully demonstrated the team's efficient project execution and excellent collaboration capabilities, laying a good foundation for the advancement of subsequent projects. After the equipment is in place, the PH2 project will fully enter the installation and debugging stage. It is expected that after being put into production, BOE's manufacturing strength and market response speed in MLED COB direct display products will be significantly improved, helping the company provide customers with better and more competitive display solutions.
Previously, the 2025 semi-annual report released by BOE showed that the company's overall revenue in the first half of the year reached 101.278 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.45%. It is worth noting that COB technology is the core technology direction of BOE's core. This year, the Zhuhai BOE COB project has achieved mass production. The project has a total investment of about 1 billion yuan. It is located in Huafa Pingsha Electronic and Electrical Industrial Park in Zhuhai City, covering an area of more than 40,000 square meters. Since construction was started in September 2024, the project has been promoted efficiently: product lighting will be completed in January 2025, and mass production will be officially entered in March. According to the plan, the base has built an advanced LED hybrid solid platform, opened up the industry's first wafer hybrid solid process route, and relied on independently developed hybrid solid algorithms and solid solid information interactive platform technology to build the world's top competitive COB, SMD, and COG production base to further improve the layout of the BOE MLED industrial chain.
